Your stay begins with check in at your lakeside tent, each with private sit outs, a skylight in the ceiling and wide views across the water. Mornings open with a yoga session by the lake, followed by a relaxed breakfast. A guided tour of the organic garden shows where much of your food comes from, with vegetable beds, flowering plants, free range hens and farm fresh milk.

Each day you choose one guided experience. Watch migratory birds from a boat at sunset, kayak across calm water, take an open jeep through farmland where blue bulls, foxes and jackals roam, walk through a nearby village or try pottery and cooking with locals. Evenings bring bonfire talks with the naturalist, stargazing in the cooler months and sundowners on the hilltop. The open air spa, set on a hillside with outdoor treatment areas, offers Kundalini, Ku Nye and herbal poultice therapies for anyone wanting deeper rest.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included at the all day restaurant, which faces the lake on one side and the pool on the other. Most vegetables are picked by the chef from the camp organic garden, and local farmers grow organic grains for the kitchen. Menus range from Rajasthani dishes to Indian curries and Italian food, and meals can be served in your tent on request.

He has worked with well known hospitality names including The Leela Kempinski, The L’Occitane Spa, Lux Resorts, Viceroy Hotels and Constance Halaveli Hotels and Resorts, where he learned to blend classic spa care with thoughtful, personal guest service. With a deep grounding in yoga, Ayurveda and natural healing therapies, he designs personalised spa and wellness programmes for individual guests and groups. He takes time to understand what each guest needs and hopes for, then shapes their stay to help them relax, find balance and feel fully restored.

The camp sits on the edge of a private lake near Nimaj in Pali district, in the old Marwar region of Rajasthan. It is about two hours by road from Jodhpur airport and railway station. Open grassland, farms, scrub and wide sky surround the water, with hardly a building in sight and over 260 species of birds recorded around the camp.

Jodhpur airport is the nearest, about two hours or 120 km by road, with daily flights from major Indian cities. Jaipur International Airport is about four hours away.

Jodhpur railway station is about two hours by road and is well connected to Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai and other major cities.

State and private buses run between Jodhpur, Ajmer and Jaipur, with Nimaj on the route. A taxi from Nimaj takes you to the camp.
