Experience the Retreat
The 5 Day Sound Healing and Aura Cleansing Retreat is built for people who want dedicated time for relaxation, energetic balance and a clearer sense of themselves. Rather than piling several wellness disciplines together, the programme holds a clear focus on sound based relaxation and aura cleansing.
Sound healing sessions use Tibetan singing bowls, an established part of the wellness offering here. The tones and vibrations create a calm environment that lets participants slow their breathing, settle their attention and notice physical and emotional sensations more clearly. Sessions are a wellness practice and not a substitute for medical treatment.
Aura cleansing is the second focus. General energy cleansing practice encourages participants to pay closer attention to how they feel, where they hold tension and how their emotional state shifts through periods of quiet work. The experience is personal, and responses differ from one participant to another.
Over the five days there are repeated sessions rather than a single one off. The time between them is left for rest, personal reflection and simply adjusting to a slower pace, which is usually the part people underestimate before they arrive.
The retreat suits working professionals, frequent travellers and wellness seekers who want a short but focused break centred on relaxation and energetic wellbeing. It also works well for anyone curious about sound healing therapy who wants to try Tibetan singing bowl sessions in a residential setting rather than a one hour class in a city studio.

Why This Retreat Stands Out
This five day package keeps everything centred on two practices that work well together, sound healing and aura cleansing. Tibetan singing bowls produce resonant tones that settle a room quickly, while the aura focused work gives a structured way to look at personal energy and awareness.
The longer format is the point. Participants experience the practice across several days rather than in one session, which is a different thing entirely. It suits anyone looking for a dedicated sound healing retreat with proper time left over for reflection and rest.

Set amid lush greenery overlooking the still water of Vaitarna Lake near Nashik, this is a farm stay and wellness retreat rather than a resort, and it is built for people who want a genuine break from city noise. Programmes cover yoga, meditation, energy healing, Ayurveda, sound healing, detox therapies, sattvic living and time spent outdoors.
The work at SiddhaDham is aimed at physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing together rather than one at a time. Panoramic views over the lake and hills, fresh air and long quiet stretches carry a good part of the healing on their own, which is exactly what the founders intended.

The retreat sits amid open green country near Igatpuri, overlooking the calm water of Vaitarna Lake and within easy reach of Nashik. This stretch of the Western Ghats is known for its hills, forest and the quiet that comes with being well outside a city.
The setting does a lot of the work here. Panoramic views over the lake and the surrounding hills, clean air and long stretches of silence make the place feel a long way from urban routine, even though the drive from Mumbai or Nashik is short. Car access runs right up to the property.
Nashik itself carries a strong spiritual heritage and is worth a day of your time. Trimbakeshwar Temple, the ghats at Panchavati, the vineyards on the city outskirts and the waterfalls and trekking trails around Igatpuri and Bhandardara are all within reach for guests who want to see the region.

Travel Information

flight

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai (BOM) is the main gateway for international guests, roughly 120 to 140 km away by road with a drive of about three to four hours depending on traffic out of the city.
Nashik Airport at Ozar (ISK) is the closer option for domestic travellers, around 70 to 80 km away, though it handles far fewer flights. A pre booked taxi from either airport is the simplest way to arrive, and the drive itself runs through good hill country.

train

Igatpuri Railway Station is the nearest railhead and sits on the Central Railway line between Mumbai and Nashik, with regular express and passenger services stopping there.
Nashik Road Railway Station is the larger station, better connected to Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and beyond. From either station a taxi or auto rickshaw covers the last stretch to the retreat. Guests should confirm the transfer in advance, since local transport thins out late in the evening.

bus

State transport and private buses run frequently between Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and Igatpuri along the Mumbai Agra highway, which makes road travel both cheap and easy to arrange at short notice.
From the bus stop at Igatpuri or Nashik, a taxi or auto rickshaw finishes the journey to the property. Guests carrying luggage will find a pre booked car considerably more comfortable than local transport for that final leg.

taxi

A pre booked taxi is the easiest way to arrive, particularly for international guests landing in Mumbai. App based services operate in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik, though for the hill stretch a car booked in advance for the full journey works better than trying to arrange one on arrival.
From Mumbai airport allow three to four hours, from Nashik around one and a half to two, and from Igatpuri station well under an hour. Ask the retreat to arrange the transfer if you would rather not organise it yourself.

car

The retreat is reached on the Mumbai Agra highway, which connects Mumbai, Nashik and Igatpuri and stays in good condition through the year. From Mumbai the drive takes roughly three hours, from Pune about four and a half, and from Nashik under two.
Vehicles come all the way to the property, so there is no walk in at the end and no need to pack light on that account. Parking is available on site. Driving also gives you the freedom to take in Bhandardara, Trimbakeshwar and the waterfalls around Igatpuri on the way in or out.

FAQ'S

A session uses resonant instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls to create sustained tones and vibrations. Participants stay comfortably seated or lying down while focusing on the sound and on their own experience of it.

No. Aura cleansing is a wellness and energy focused practice. It is not diagnostic, it is not a medical treatment and it is not a replacement for care from a qualified healthcare professional.

Yes. No previous experience with sound healing or aura cleansing is needed. The programme opens with an orientation so participants understand the practices and can settle into the sessions comfortably.

Experiences vary from person to person. Some notice relaxation, less mental tension, more calm or sharper awareness after a session, while others simply enjoy the quiet and the restorative setting.

Five days gives you far more than a single session and lets the practice repeat and build. The programme is a focused short retreat rather than a professional sound healing training course.

Yes. Vehicles come right up to the property and parking is available on site, so there is no walking stretch at the end of the journey and no restriction on how much luggage you bring.

Sattvic vegetarian meals cooked simply and served at set times, using local and seasonal produce. Mindful eating is part of the programme, so meals are unhurried. Flag any dietary requirement when you book.

The lake, the surrounding greenery and the walking paths take up most of it. Further afield there are the waterfalls and trails around Igatpuri and Bhandardara, Trimbakeshwar Temple and the vineyards outside Nashik.

October to February is the most comfortable, with mild days and clear views. The monsoon between June and September brings heavy rain but turns the whole area green, and many guests prefer it for exactly that reason.

Yes. The centre also runs yoga, meditation, energy healing, Ayurvedic cooking, sattvic lifestyle, detox, de-stress and silence retreats across a range of durations, so a longer or different stay can be arranged.
