Experience the Retreat
This is a deeper residential programme built around inner alignment, run for a maximum of four participants at a boutique residential set up in the hills above Lonavala. It moves deliberately from the physical to the mental and then to the subconscious, rather than mixing everything together.

Day One — Introspection
Day one begins by turning inward and stepping away from the busyness of everyday life. A salt water and mineral immersion opens the retreat, creating space to soften the body and settle the nervous system, with sound introduced underwater to deepen the experience. This is followed by trauma-informed somatic yoga, using intuitive movement and breath to release stored tension and restore the connection between body and awareness.

The afternoon moves into expression and observation. Inner Cartography — Soul Expression Art allows unconscious imagery and inner patterns to surface without relying on words, creating a bridge between expression and subconscious awareness. Cittanupassana then brings attention to the breath and the movement of thought, encouraging us to step back from the mind and become the observer, while exploring how this awareness can translate into everyday life.

The evening moves into vocal sound meditation, exploring breath, chanting and the resonance of Sanskrit sounds within the body, mind and inner being. The day closes with Enkoimesis — The Dream Gate, preparing the inner field for deeper rest, dreams and subtle perception. The evening is held in quiet awareness, allowing the experiences of the day to settle and integrate.

Day Two — Reflection
Day two begins outdoors with Zen meditation in nature, creating an opportunity to experience stillness beyond the structure of the retreat space. Rather than moving immediately into the next activity, time is given for rest and integration — allowing the experience of nature to settle before moving on.

The afternoon turns towards patterns and emotional release. Metta meditation explores attachment, held emotional patterns and the stories we continue to carry, creating space to soften our relationship with what no longer serves us. Sound healing follows, using Tibetan bowls and other instruments to create a calming, immersive experience and support a sense of inner recalibration.

EFT tapping introduces a practical approach to working with residual emotional patterns and offers a simple self-regulation practice that can be carried into everyday life. The day closes with vocal sound meditation, making chanting and breath a continuing daily practice, followed by Enkoimesis — The Dream Gate, deepening the preparation for rest, dreams and subtle perception.

Day Three — Balancing
Day three moves deeper into sound and energetic awareness. The morning begins with deep vocal sound meditation, taking the resonance of Sanskrit into a more sustained and inward state, followed by chakra balancing through sound and frequency.

The afternoon continues this exploration through crystal-based chakra work, combining the seven crystals with sound and internal focus. Third-Eye and Kundalini Activation then introduces a neuro-somatic approach to working with breath, internal attention and the nervous system, exploring dormant life-force energy, intuitive awareness and expanded states of perception.

The day closes once again with vocal sound meditation and Enkoimesis — The Dream Gate, creating continuity between conscious experience, subconscious awareness, rest and dreams. By this point, the practices begin to build upon one another rather than standing alone.

Day Four — Alignment
Day four brings the inner work back into relationship with nature. Nature Re-Integration offers an opportunity to return outdoors, reconnect with natural rhythms and notice what from the previous days continues to resonate. The experience can then be directed towards a chakra, recurring pattern or unresolved area that feels meaningful to explore.

The afternoon turns towards subconscious programming — understanding how much of our behaviour is shaped by patterns operating beneath conscious awareness, and exploring how an old pattern can be consciously recognised and reshaped into a more desired one.

The evening moves into Yoga Nidra, a guided state of deep rest and awareness that invites a different perspective on the body, thoughts and feelings as expressions of a larger experience of life. Zero Gravity Sound Immersion then uses weightlessness, stillness and sound to allow the body to release tension and create space for deeper emotional awareness.

Anapana meditation brings the day back to something simple — observing the natural breath, quieting the mind and returning to the present moment. Vocal sound meditation and Enkoimesis complete the evening, allowing the day’s experiences to settle through rest and inward reflection.

Day Five — Integration
The final day is about bringing the journey together rather than adding more to it. The morning begins with deep vocal sound meditation, continuing the daily practice of breath, sound and Sanskrit resonance. This is followed by Floating Watsu, where gentle movement in water and a sense of weightlessness allow the body to soften, release tension and experience greater freedom around the joints and body.

The afternoon brings the retreat towards its final integration through the ice bath — an intentional nervous-system practice involving a rapid shift in physiological state, followed by recovery and regulation. It becomes an opportunity to meet the body’s instinctive responses, observe old patterns and practise returning to a state of regulation.

The final meditation explores the idea of human vibration and frequency in a practical way, bringing together the experiences of the retreat and inviting participants to reflect on how state, attention, breath and awareness influence their everyday experience.

The journey concludes with Wim Hof breathwork, a powerful breath-based practice combining controlled breathing and focused awareness, followed by closing reflection and departure.

By 6:30 PM, the retreat comes to a close — with space to carry forward what has been understood, experienced and felt, and to return to everyday life with greater clarity, groundedness and inner alignment.

Why This Retreat Stands Out
The group never goes above four. That cap is the whole design rather than a selling point, because the work here is close, personal and unsuitable for a room of twenty strangers.

The five days follow a clear order. There is a systematic flow of the retreat and goes day wise, Reflecting, Introspecting, Balancing, Alignment & Integration, works with the body to regulate the nervous system, moves through mind and subconscious, and turns to integration, so nothing is asked of guests before they have been prepared for it.

The range of methods is unusually wide for this programme. Water immersion, somatic movement, sound, tapping, art, seated meditation, floating body, breathwork and cold exposure all appear, which means several doorways rather than one fixed technique.

Dates are not fixed. The retreat runs across weekdays and weekends and is scheduled around when participants are ready and on availability, which makes it far easier to fit around work than a set departure calendar.

Travel Information

flight

Navi Mumbai Airport is only 40 kms away and a ride to and fro is only an hour.

Pune Airport is the next closest at roughly 70 km, a drive of around two hours, with domestic connections from across India.

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is about 100 km away and is the usual arrival point for international guests.

From either airport a pre-booked taxi is the simplest way to reach Gold Valley. Arrival details are worth sharing with the centre in advance, since check-in is by 10:00 AM. Can also request the retreat to book on your behalf as indicated above.

train

Lonavala has its own railway station on the Mumbai to Pune line, with frequent services from both cities. It is one of the easier retreat destinations in India to reach by rail.

From Lonavala station, a local taxi or auto covers the short distance to Gold Valley. The early morning services from Mumbai and Pune suit the 10:00 AM check-in well.

bus

State and private buses run to Lonavala from both Mumbai and Pune throughout the day, with the journey taking around two hours from either city. It is the most economical way to arrive.

From the Lonavala bus stand, a local taxi or auto reaches Gold Valley in a few minutes. Give the driver the address at Gold Valley Sector D.

taxi

A pre-booked taxi is the easiest option from Mumbai or Pune, taking around two hours from either. App based cabs work for the intercity run and within Lonavala town.

For the last stretch into Gold Valley it is worth having directions from the centre rather than relying on a map alone. Share your arrival time in advance so the house is expecting you.

car

Lonavala sits on the Mumbai Pune Expressway, roughly 100 km from Mumbai and 65 km from Pune, with both drives taking around two hours outside peak traffic. The road is fast and well maintained for almost the whole way.

From the expressway exit, Gold Valley is a short drive through the residential valley. Parking should be confirmed with the centre when booking.

FAQ'S

Participants are limited to four. The cap is deliberate and allows the deep, personal work the programme is built around, rather than a group session everyone follows at the same pace.

There is no fixed calendar. Retreats run across weekdays and weekends and are scheduled around when participants are ready, so dates are agreed at the time of booking upon availability.

Check-in is by 10:00 AM on Day One at the latest and the retreat begins at 10:30 AM. Checkout is by 6:30 PM on Day Five. Facility is very flexible and understanding on any extended timeline for either.

Stay, all meals and every session are included in the per person price. The advance confirms the place and the balance is paid during check-in.

Salt water immersion, somatic yoga, soul expression art, EFT tapping, sound healing, Zen and Metta meditation, Floating Sound immersion, Floating Watsu, Cittanupassana, third eye and kundalini activation, Wim Hof breathwork, seven chakra balancing, an ice bath and Yoga Nidra.

It is described by the centre as serious nervous system work rather than a novelty, moving the body from a safety state through sympathetic to parasympathetic. Anyone with a heart or circulatory condition should discuss it with the centre before booking.

Wim Hof style breathwork is a deep breath-based practice and is not suitable for everyone, particularly during pregnancy or with cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy or a history of fainting. Health conditions should be shared with the facilitator before arrival.

Pure vegetarian meals throughout, chosen to support balance and awareness and to keep the body light through the sessions. Dietary requirements should be raised when booking.

No. The sessions are guided throughout and the pace is set by the group, which is small enough for the facilitator to work with each person where they are.

Further Details About the Retreat

Several practices here work directly on the nervous system, including the ice bath, the Wim Hof breathwork and the kundalini activation. Anyone who is pregnant, has a cardiovascular or neurological condition, or is under treatment for a mental health condition should discuss suitability with the facilitator before booking, and continue any care they are already under.
