Meenakshi, Retreat Curator in Uttarakhand

Meenakshi Bakhshi is the curator of this retreat, a Himalayan wellness retreat built around nature, mindful living and well being.

Her work is shaped by the setting itself. The hills here move at their own pace, and the programmes she designs follow it rather than the clock. Guests are given room to slow down, spend unhurried time outdoors and pay attention to what the body has been asking for.

She is currently pursuing a specialised Forest Bathing course with Treeming, Switzerland. Forest bathing is the practice of spending quiet, unhurried time among trees, led by the senses rather than by any fixed activity, and it runs through much of what she creates here.

The result is a stay that asks very little of a guest. There is space to walk, to rest and to settle, and most people leave feeling steadier than when they arrived.
