Dr S Mahesh, Ayurveda Doctor in Thiruvananthapuram

Dr Mahesh Sreedharan is an Ayurvedic physician trained at Government Ayurveda College, Trivandrum, one of the oldest Ayurveda institutions in Kerala. He went on to complete a postgraduate qualification in hospital management from IHRD, Trivandrum.

He also worked for several years in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, and that period changed how he runs things here. European guests arrive with certain expectations around hygiene, record keeping and being told clearly what a treatment involves. Those standards are now simply how the centre operates, alongside classical Kerala Ayurveda rather than in place of it.

He leads the centre with his wife, Dr Anitha Mahesh, who is also an Ayurvedic physician from the same college and oversees administration. Between them, a guest is looked after by a doctor at every stage of the stay, supported by a trained team of therapists.
